FRANKLIN, Maine (AP) A 27-year-old hiker from Pennsylvania who was reported missing spent a chilly night in the woods but was found in good shape with her dog on Monday, the Maine Warden Service said.

Wardens had been looking for Carolyn Leigh Meadows, of West Chester, since Sunday afternoon. She’d been last seen in the area of Schoodic Beach on Donnell Pond in Franklin with her chocolate Labrador retriever.

Wardens and volunteers searched through the night for Meadows and continued the search Monday morning before she was spotted walking along a highway, wardens said.
