House in Yarmouth burns to the ground, no injuries reported

Yarmouth fire and rescue say that a house burned down in town early Saturday morning.

According to authorities, no one was in the house at the time of the fire on Madeline Point Road and the property burned to the fround at around 3am.

Fire Crews extinguished hot spots before 5:30 am and no one was injured.

According to a Facebook post put out by the Town of Yarmouth Fire Rescue no injuries were reported.

Anyone with any footage along Gilman Road, Cousins Street, or Madeline Point Road are asked to contact Captain Farris at the Yarmouth Police Department.

The fire is currently under investigation with assistance of the State Fire Marshals Office.
