NORTH YARMOUTH, Maine (WGAN) Police say they’ve recovered a body near the home of a missing North Yarmouth woman but have not yet identified it.

It’s not yet clear if the discovery is related to the disappearance of 47-year-old Kristin Westra, who was last seen Sunday night at her home. A heavy police presence was reported near a farmhouse on Gray Road in the early afternoon on Friday, about a mile and a half away from Westra’s home by car, and a mile through the woods.

The medical examiner’s office is working to identify the body and determine a cause of death.
