Police say more than 350 grams of heroin and fentanyl were seized from a Lewiston motel room this week.

Lewiston Police and the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency executed a search warrant Monday evening at a room at the Light House Inn on Lisbon Street. That followed an investigation leading police to 56-year-old Marcel Seeley, a suspected drug trafficker.

In addition to heroin and fentanyl, agents also found more than $2,000, a loaded handgun, methamphetamine, prescriptions, and items associated with the packaging and processing of drugs.

The Androscoggin County Jail says Seeley was charged with aggravated trafficking in fentanyl, unlawful possession of methamphetamine and criminal forfeiture.

He’s being held on $7,500 bail and was expected to make his first court appearance on Wednesday.
