Investigators suspect arson in fire that displaced four people from Fairfield apartment building

Investigators believe a fire that displaced four residents in Fairfield was intentionally set.

The State Fire Marshal’s Office says the fire broke out at a building on Summit Street around 3:30 a.m. Sunday.

All four occupants got out safely with no injuries reported.

The fire marshal’s office says the fire appears to have been set intentionally, but is still under investigation.
