Vice President JD Vance will be in Bangor on Thursday.
The Maine Republican Party says that Vance will be speaking at the Bangor International Airport.
Maine GOP Chair Jason Savage confirmed the visit in an email on Monday.
The event is scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m., with the vice president set to deliver remarks at 12:30 p.m.
The visit comes amid a closely-watched U.S. Senate race in Maine, with Republican Sen. Susan Collins seeking re-election against Graham Platner, the presumptive Democratic nominee.
