Juvenile accused of setting fire to shed in Windham

WINDHAM, Maine (WGAN) A 15-year-old has been charged with arson as part of an investigation into a fire in Windham.

Authorities said the fire broke out at a shed on Main St. in Windham on Saturday around 1:30 a.m.

Investigators arrived on scene and determined the fire was the result of arson.

A 15-year-old was charged and released to the custody of a parent.

The investigation is ongoing.

The property previously housed the South Windham Fire Station until it was decommissioned in 2017, according to reporting in The Windham Eagle. It was later sold to be converted into a restaurant and brew pub.
