A juvenile accused of strangling a victim in Rockland is facing a felony assault charge.

The juvenile allegedly strangled the victim in the area of Willow Street on Tuesday, and is accused of damaging their property and stealing from them.

The incident was not random, and those involved were well-known to each other.

Police say the juvenile was located without incident and taken to Long Creek Youth Development Center.
