Juvenile on skateboard seriously injured after getting hit by car

KINGFIELD, Maine (WGAN) A juvenile was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries after getting hit by a car while riding a skateboard.

According to our info partners at CBS 13 news, the accident happened in Kingfield on Wednesday night a little before 8:30 p.m.

31-year-old Isaac Moody was driving down Route 142 when he crossed the center line and hit the juvenile. Moody took off but later returned to the scene, according to police. He was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of a personal injury accident and aggravated driving to endanger.

The crash is still under investigation.
