A Bridgton woman faces a long list of charges after a chase through the Lakes Region reached speeds of up to 100 mph.

According to the Portland Press Herald, Police arrested 62-year-old Kristen Barr.

Capt. Donald Foss of the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office said the traffic volume in the Sebago Lake area coupled with the driver’s recklessness created a very dangerous situation.

The incident began around 2:30 p.m. on Route 302 in Windham after a motorist notified police that the driver of a black pickup truck was driving erratically, even striking several other vehicles.

Barr eventually pulled over voluntarily and was taken into custody.

She was being held Sunday night at the Cumberland County Jail on $5,000 cash bail.
