A dozen Lewiston residents displaced by fire

Three families were displaced by a fire in Lewiston Sunday morning.

The fire on Shawmut Street broke out around 6:00 a.m.

Investigators believe it began in the ceiling of a second floor hallway, and an electrical issue is likely to blame.

No injuries were reported.

The Red Cross is assisting those displaced families.
