Lewiston man accused of shooting, killing his girlfriend pleads not guilty

A Lewiston man accused in the shooting death of his girlfriend last Dec. has pleaded not guilty to murder.

According to CBS 13, Eddie Massie, 40, entered his plea virtually Tuesday.

He’s accused of killing 25-year-old Lacresha Howard of Lewiston.

Her body was discovered in the hallway of an apartment building on Pierce Street.

Police said she suffered a single gunshot wound to the back of the head.

Neighbors told police that they could hear the two arguing before the shot was fired.

If convicted, Massie faces 25 years to life in prison.
