Lewiston man charged in fatal shooting

Police arrested a Lewiston man in connection with the fatal shooting of another man from Massachusetts.

The shooting on Howe Street was reported to police just after 4 p.m. The victim, 20-year-old John Paquin of Worcester, Massachusetts, was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Later that night, police searched the Howe Street home of 28-year-old Mark John Sinclair, who had been arrested earlier that night for domestic violence terrorizing, criminal mischief and violation of bail. He was charged with murder on Monday.

He’s being held without bail and will be arraigned later this week.
