Police are looking for a Lewiston man who’s considered armed and dangerous.

Rumford police issued a shelter-in-place order on Wednesday and surrounded an apartment at 209 Waldo Street after reports of gunfire and drug trafficking linked to the address.

A tactical team entered the apartment around 1 p.m. and found it empty.

The shelter-in-place order was lifted.

Police are asking for information leading them to Blake Lachance, 21, who’s wanted on multiple felony charges involving the use of a dangerous weapon.

Anyone who sees Lachance is asked not to approach him and call police immediately.
