LEWISTON, Maine (WGAN) A Lewiston man pleaded guilty Wednesday to assaulting his girlfriend with a frying pan and beating her over the course of several hours.

The Sun Journal reports 23-year-old Arthur Curit IV was sentenced to 9 years behind bars with all but 3 and a half years suspended for domestic violence and aggravated assault. He’ll also serve 4 years probation after his prison sentence.
