Lewiston Police Looking for Suspect in Injury Shooting

Lewsiton Polce are looking for a suspect in an early morning shooting Monday that injured one person.

Police say the person suffering from a gunshot wound was taken to Central Maine Medical Center in a private vehilce at about 4:45 am Monday.

Officers say early information indicates the shooting took place in the area of Bradley Street in Lewiston.

They say the shooting is currently under active investigation by the Lewiston Police Department, with assistance from the Maine State Police.

Police say further updates will be released as details become available.
