Lewiston Police Say Death of Missing 81-Year-Old Appears to Be Suicide

LEWISTON, Maine (WGAN) Police in Lewiston say the body of an 81-year-old man who went missing was found in the woods Thursday.

Police say the death is an apparent suicide.

According to our info partners at CBS 13 news, Lewiston police say James Flynn left his home on Michaud Avenue around 3:00 P.M. Wednesday for what was expected to be an hour-long bike ride but never returned home.

Police say Flynn’s body was found off a snowmobile trail near the end of Switzerland Road in Lewiston.
