Lewiston shooter threatened bakery employees days before attack

A police report filed in New Hampshire and sent to the Maine State Police reveals Lewiston shooter Robert Card allegedly threatened employees at a bakery outlet 6 days before he opened fire at Just-In-Time Recreation and Schemengees Bar and Grille, killing 18 people and injuring 13 on Oct. 25.

According to the report, which was obtained Friday by the Portland Press Herald, Card told employees at Country Kitchen Bakery Outlet in Hudson New Hampshire, “Maybe you will be the ones I snap on.”

The incident was not reported to police until the day after the shootings. The employees reportedly recognized Card from the images of him on the news following the shooting and decided to report the encounter.

Card had been at the bakery making a delivery for a company that has not been identified at this time.
