Freeport (WGME) — L.L. Bean is joining a long list of businesses that are shuttering operations in response to the Coronavirus outbreak.

The company announced all retail locations will close effective 12 a.m. Tuesday and will resume normal operations on March 29th. The company says all employees will receive pay and benefits during the closure.

The closing of the retail stores includes their flagship store, which has only ever closed five times. This will mark the first time in the store’s history that it has closed for longer than 24-hours.
