Maine is the fourth best US state for selling homes above market value.

More than 47 percent of properties sell above the listed price in Maine, according to research from property buying specialists Eden Emerald Buyers Agent.

The group analyzed monthly data from Zillow on the percentage of property sales that exceeded listing prices.

Six of the top 10 best states for homes that sell above market value are in New England.
