As temperatures in the State of Maine are projected to reach over 90 degrees on Tuesday and over 80 degrees on Monday and Wednesday, parts of the state are under an Extreme Heat Watch. Cooling centers have begun to open across the state in order to combat potentially dangerous temperatures.
