Maine Couple Arrested for Selling Heroin

GOULDSBORO, Maine (WGAN)  The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency says a Gouldsboro couple has been charged with selling heroin in Hancock County.

Drug agents say 46-year-old Chad Thibault and 40-year-old Roxie Albee were each charged with unlawful trafficking in heroin.

Drug agents conducted an investigation into the distribution of heroin in the Schoodic Peninsula region, including undercover purchases of the drug from the pair.

Monday night around 7 p.m., agents searched their single family home on Main Street.  45 grams of heroin was seized along with $4,538 in suspected drug proceeds.

Thibault and Albee were both taken to Hancock County Jail where bail was set at $2,500 cash for Thibault and $1,500 for Albee.

Agents say the Department of Health and Human Services was also notified because an 11-year-old was present at the residence during the investigation and search.
