A Windsor daycare owner is set to appear in court today after a child suffered brain trauma in her care.

The owner of Lil Beans Daycare, Savannah Brann, says she put 20-month-old Raegan Blagdon down for a nap and a couple hours later Raegan was found facedown under a pillow, not breathing.

A report says the baby suffered asphyxia, possibly because the blanket she was wrapped in was too tight.

Raegan is now in recovery and learning to walk all over again.

She is also now partially blind.

Brann faces aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of a child.
