Power was out Wednesday morning near where a Maine DOT dump truck struck a utility pole in Sebago.

Cumberland County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the area of 27 Peabody Pond Road around 10:50 a.m. after a dump truck owned and operated by the Maine Department of Transportation left the roadway with its passenger side tires and struck a CMP pole with the plow frame. Part of the truck became intertwined with the downed lines.

The driver was uninjured in the crash.

The road was expected to be closed until the lines and truck could be safely removed.

CMP was also at the scene to restore power.
