Maine gas prices dip over past week

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) Gas prices have dropped a little in northern New England.

The latest GasBuddy.com survey shows Vermont gas prices fell 5.1 cents per gallon in the last week, to an average of $2.50.

The average price in Maine is $2.39 per gallon, a drop of 3 cents.

In New Hampshire, prices went down 2 cents, to $2.37 a gallon.

The national average price of gasoline fell 6.2 cents per gallon to an average of $2.41 in the last week. That’s 4.4 cents lower per gallon than a month ago, and 1.8 cents less per gallon than a year ago.
