Massachusetts joins the list of states whose residents do not have to test negative for COVID-19 or quarantine for 14 days if they plan on travelling to Maine.

The office of Governor Janet Mills announced Wednesday that Massachusetts now resembles states like Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey when it comes to coronavirus prevalence and positivity rate.

Maine CDC Director Dr. Nirav Shah says health officials still encourage anyone travelling to Maine from states exempt from those restrictions to take advantage of Maine’s testing options.
