Maine hits 10,000 coronavirus cases, additional death

One new coronavirus-related death was reported by the Maine CDC Saturday morning.

The additional death reported is a man in his 70’s from Cumberland County.

The death toll now stands at 174.

The Maine CDC reported 165 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of reported cases over the 10,000 mark in the state, to 10,123.

This as the Mills administration moved York county into the yellow zone on the health advisory system Friday, joining Androscoggin, Franklin, Somerset and Washington counties in the yellow.

The Maine CDC reported 123 more recoveries to bring the total to 7,713.
