Maine hospital set to launch COVID-19 vaccination clinic at Portland Expo

The Portland Expo building will become a mass vaccination site next month.

Northern Light Mercy Hospital and the City of Portland are launching the clinic, which will offer appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning March 2nd.

Those vaccinations will be for eligible Mainers who are 70 and older.

Melissa Skahan, Northern Light Mercy Hospital Vice President, said the expo offers ample space for a clinic, and has access to public transportation and onsite parking
