Julia Munsey will be the next president of the Maine State Chamber of Commerce.

The Bangor resident is currently the membership and corporate development director for the Maine International Trade Center.

According to the Portland Press Herald, the chamber announced the move Friday.

She’ll replace Dana Connors, who announced in April that he’s retiring after leading the organization for nearly three decades.

Munsey will become the chamber’s first female president when she takes over next month.
