Maine State Police Investigate Death of Missing Thomaston Man

Maine State Police are investigating the death of a Thomaston man, who had gone missing back on April 5th.

Police say 64-year-old Darryl Sanborn of Thomaston was last seen in Waldoboro, while a body was found 10 days later by a person walking on a dirt road off Wagner Bridge Road in Waldoboro.

The Chief Medical Examiner in Augusta has now positively identified the body as that of Sanborn.

The cause and manner of Sanborn’s death are still under investigation. Police say there is no known danger to the public.
