Maine Uber driver accused of sexually assaulting woman in Bangor

An Uber driver in Bangor is accused of sexually assaulting a passenger.

Bangor police said 28-year-old Joseph Graston of Milo picked up a woman from a night club in Bangor in June.

The next morning, the woman told police that she believed the driver had sexually assaulted her.

Graston was charged with gross sexual assault and unlawful sexual contact. He was also fired by Uber.

Graston is being held without bail at Penobscot County Jail.

Police said the investigation is still ongoing.
