FRYEBURG, Maine (WGAN) A former Stow woman is under arrest and charged with setting fire to her own home last month.

Public Safety Spokesman Steve McCausland says the State Fire Marshal’s Office charged 45-year-old Sara Neddenriep with two counts of arson. Neddenriep had moved to Fryeburg after the fire, and was arrested at a friend’s house around 1pm Thursday.

Fire investigators accused Neddenriep of setting fire to her home just after midnight on March 11th. She lived there with her 16-year-old daughter. The house was destroyed but no one was injured.

Neddenriep was taken to the Oxford County Correctional Facility, held in lieu of $50,000 cash bail.
