Mainers nabbed with more than 2 pounds of fentanyl, authorities say

The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office says two people were arrested after deputies found more than 2 pounds of fentanyl during a traffic stop.

Deputies also say two young children were in car at the time.

The vehicle operated by 34-year-old Roger Grego of Etna was pulled over around 7 p.m. Sunday.

Deputies also say they found methamphetamine, cocaine, and crack.

According to CBS 13, the total street value of all the drugs was estimated to be about $190,000.

Monica Clark, 37, of Bangor was a passenger in the vehicle.

Clark and Grego were arrested and slapped with drug trafficking charges.

The two remained in the Penobscot County Jail Tuesday morning.

The Maine Dept. of Health and Human Services was called to assist deputies with the children.
