Maine’s largest agricultural fair draws to a close

FRYEBURG, Maine (AP) Maine’s largest agricultural fair is drawing to a close, and so is the summer fair season.

Thousands of people have attended the Fryeburg Fair which began on Sept. 29 and wraps up on Sunday.

This was the 169th Fryeburg Fair.

The event featured everything from steer and oxen pulling contests to skillet-throwing competitions. There also were truck and tractor pulls, calf and pig scrambles, and music and rides.
