A New Jersey man is pleading guilty to burglarizing two Maine post offices and robbing mail carriers at knifepoint earlier this year.

The Sun Journal reports 31-year-old Lance Funderburk pleaded guilty in federal court Tuesday to numerous felonies after admitting he and another man broke into post offices in Paris and North Monmouth and stole money order printers, mail, computers and other items back in January.

Police say the two men then robbed two Lewiston postal carriers and threatened to stab them.

Funderburk and the other man could each face up to 25 years in prison.
