Man and dog killed in single-vehicle rollover crash in Albion

ALBION, Maine (WGAN) Police say a man and a dog were killed in a crash in Kennebec County over the weekend.

Our info partners at CBS 13 news report the crash happened on Benton Road in Albion around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. 37-year-old Phillip Brown of Albion was driving with 2 dogs in the vehicle when he went over into the dirt shoulder of the road then back on to the road, before rolling over several times.

Brown and both dogs were thrown from the vehicle, killing him and one of the dogs.

Police believe speed and alcohol were factors in the crash.
