Man arrested after Waterville bakery shooting

A man has been arrested in connection with a shooting at a bakery in Waterville.

Police responded to the Country Kitchen Bakery outlet on Kennedy Memorial Dr. this week for a report of shots fired during an altercation at the bakery.

When police arrived, they learned that a man drove himself to a nearby hospital to receive treatment for a gunshot wound.

According to CBS 13, the man’s injuries were non-life-threatening.

Police say 25-year-old Christopher McKenna of Winslow shot the man during the altercation.

McKenna was arrested at the scene and charged with reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon.
