Man Arrested for Bangor Homicide


BANGOR, Maine (WGAN)  Bangor Police say an arrest has been made in a homicide investigation.

Bangor Police have been investigating the death of 51-year-old Israel Lewis since the Bangor man was found dead inside of his apartment at 40 Second St. on Jan. 10.

Police say Lewis died from a gunshot wound and the death was ruled a homicide.

On Saturday, Police arrested 29-year-old F Daly.  Police say Daly is originally from Boston, Mass. but has most recently been living in Bangor.

 

Daly has been charged with the murder of Israel Lewis and is currently being held at the Penobscot County Jail.

Police say their investigation in ongoing.
