Man charged in connection with shooting in Glenburn appears in court

One of three men accused of shooting at a home and a car in Glenburn made his first court appearance on Monday.

Penobscot County Deputies said a group of men wearing masks fired shots, causing damage to a woman’s home and car Sunday afternoon on Danforth Drive.

22-year-old Raphael Cupidon of Massachusetts faces felony drug trafficking charges, and two misdemeanor counts of refusing to submit to arrest.

Cupidon did not enter a plea, with his case now going before a grand jury who will decide whether or not to indict him.

Another man, 36-year-old George Overlock of Carmel, was arrested and taken to the hospital.
