BUCKFIELD, Maine (WGAN)  The State Fire Marshal’s Office says a Buckfield man faces an arson charge after an incident in the parking lot of a local store.

Investigators arrested 29-year-old Cody Kreworuka at his home at 22 Turner Street in Buckfield and took him to the Oxford County Jail.

Investigators say he threw a Molotov cocktail at a vehicle parked outside Tilton’s Market on Feb. 10. The market is located down the street from where Kreworuka lives.

The flammable device did not strike the car and there was little damage.

Kreworuka was arrested last week and it is unclear what his motive was, according to investigators.

The Oxford Sheriff’s Office and State Police assisted fire marshals in the investigation.
