Man Dies in Overnight Fire in North Anson


NORTH ANSON, Maine (WGAN)  The State Fire Marshal’s Office says a man has died in a house fire in North Anson overnight.

The body of the homeowner, in his 60’s, has been recovered from the home.

The fire swept through the house on North Main Street in the pre-dawn hours .

A team of fire investigators will now attempt to pinpoint the cause of the blaze.
