Man Taken Into Custody For Threatening To Shoot Up A School

ROCKLAND, Me.   (WGAN)   A man was taken into custody after posting a desire to shoot up a school.

Several weapons were seized from the man’s home in Rockland. The Portland Press Herald says the man was taken to a hospital for a mental evaluation.

He reportedly told a friend that voices were telling him to shoot up a school.

Police were notified.

Their first concern was to make sure the schools were guarded.

Then they took the man into custody.
