Man Walking on Tracks in Biddeford Killed by Amtrak Train

BIDDEFORD, Maine (AP) Authorities say a pedestrian who was hit by a passenger train in Maine has died.

Biddeford Police said a southbound Amtrak train struck 42-year-old Dennis MacGillivray of Biddeford as he was walking on the tracks in Biddeford late Sunday afternoon.

The train continued to Boston several hours later. The incident remains under investigation.
