A Maine man who pleaded guilty to murder for stabbing his co-worker to death has been sentenced to 65 years behind bars.

Spridal Hubiak stabbed 52-year-old Angela Bragg of Waterville last December. The pair worked together at Damon’s Beverage in Waterville.

Investigators say a co-worker found Bragg’s body at the business the following morning.

Bragg’s ex-husband told reporters Hubiak was “infatuated” with her.

Police believed Hubiak was planning more violence when he was arrested in Arkansas with weapons found in his vehicle.
