Many Cruise Ships to Anchor in Portland This Year

Cruise season is officially underway in Maine’s largest city.

On Wednesday, 1,200 passengers aboard the Artania cruise ship arrived in Portland. City officials say nine ships are scheduled to arrive in May.

The Associated Press reports that Portland is expecting a record-breaking number of cruise ship visits this year.
