Massachusetts Man Arrested for Selling Marijuana


OLD ORCHARD BEACH, Maine (WGAN)  Old Orchard Beach Police say a Massachusetts man has been arrested for selling marijuana.

Police say around 2 p.m. Thursday, Maine Drug Enforcement Agents assisted them in executing a search warrant at the 925 Silver Shop on Old Orchard Beach Street.

28-year-old Peter Mesak was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated trafficking in marijuana.

Police say his arrest follows an ongoing investigation that started after police were told marijuana was being illegally sold over the counter from the business to adults and minors.

Police say their investigation continues and more charges are likely.

Mesak is being held on $15,000 bail.
