A convicted rapist who authorities say ran off during his trial was arrested in Maine on Friday.

According to media reports, 38-year-old Stephen Corbin Jr. of Methuen, Massachusetts was arrested in Farmingdale, Maine on Friday morning.

He was on trial last month for the sexual assault of two teenage girls.

He was arrested by U.S. Marshals after they received information that he may be at a home in Farmingdale. Corbin was taken into custody after he was seen in the passenger seat of a car that pulled up to the house.

Corbin was charged in Maine with being a fugitive from justice and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

He’ll be sent back to Massachusetts where he’ll sentenced for eight counts of aggravated rape of a child.
