Meals to be Available for Portland Children

A partnership between “Full Plates Full Potential” and several Portland restaurants has made 1700 meals to ensure Portland children will not go hungry. The food was delivered to eight schools in Portland, and will be able to be picked up starting Wednesday. meals will be provided based on the number of children in the car between 10 am and noon every weekday. walk-ups are also welcome. schools participating are Riverton, Lyman Moore, Deering High, King Middle, East End Community, Presumpscot Elementary, Rowe Elementary and Peaks Island Elementary.
