Sen. Susan Collins says Maine will benefit from more than $22 million set aside for homeless services.

Sen. Collins announced Thursday that the money will be distributed amongst 12 organizations.

That list includes Preble Street, the Maine Coalition to End Domestic Violence, and the city of Bangor, among several others.

The money will be used to support housing services for homeless people and families, as well as victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking.
