Missing women with intellectual disabilities located by Maine Warden Service

Two Topsham women with intellectual disabilities have been found safe after the two went missing while trying to drive to the Maine Mall.

Kimberly Pushard, 51, and Angela Bussell were located near Nicatous Lake in East Hancock, more than three hours from Topsham.

Police had said the two were driving around the border of Maine, Massachusetts and New Hampshire on Tuesday and were unable to find their way home.

They were in contact with the Exeter, NH Police Dept. that evening, and the department tried to give them directions to return home but were unable to do so.

Game Warden Brad Richard was travelling on a snowmobile Sunday when he located the two women in their vehicle near Nicatous Lake on an unplowed road in T40 MD.

The vehicle had become stuck and run out of gas.

According to a press release from the warden service, “The two women had spent the night in the vehicle with no heat with outside temperatures of approximately -15 degrees.”
